I have been teaching music at the American School of Paris since 1968. It is the best job in the world and I never tire of seeing and hearing young people discover the joy of making music together.
From 1995-2005 I was school webmaster and managed a succession of online activities featuring the school’s public information, restricted pages for the community and a vast alumni listing including an online reunion that ran for fie years.
Now I coordinate Poodle (our name for Moodle), our online learning environment and set up training in this and associated Web 2.0 tools such as WordPress, Google Apps and Ustream.
While playing around on facebook & seeing how many folks I might know from my days in Paris many years ago, I ran across your name! How wonderful to see you are still with the American Sch of Paris & sharing your expertise & joy of music with students! Writing/co-creating the musical, The American School of Mars, with you has remained a highlight of the time my 2 kids were students there. And, of course, your wife Claudine and I were in the same Consciousness Raising group for awhile! Aaah, the memories! I also am a teacher, mostly of women’s spirituality, and classes on creative writing. Happy to see you are putting your good thoughts out into the world with your blog—very interesting! Be Well & respond if you’d like.
